Wills & Estate Planning

Give us your instructions,
before you come in.

A guided questionnaire that gathers everything we need to prepare your Will and Powers of Attorney — so your appointment is spent on advice, not paperwork.

How it works

Four steps from questionnaire to signed documents.

1  You pay the deposit and answer the questions

A deposit opens the file and is credited against your final account. Then: your details, your family, who you want to act for you, and how you want your estate divided. Skip anything you are unsure about — we will go through it with you.

2  You press Send

Your answers come straight through to the firm. You can keep a copy for yourself at the same time, and we are in touch within two business days to book your appointment.

3  We prepare the drafts

Your Will, your Continuing Power of Attorney for Property and your Power of Attorney for Personal Care are drafted on the firm’s precedents and reviewed by the lawyer.

4  You come in and sign

We read the drafts through with you, make any changes, and witness the signing at our Caledonia office.

Have these to hand

Full legal names — including middle names — and dates of birth for your spouse, your children, and anyone you want to appoint. Names have to match identification when a Will is proved, so a nickname or a first name alone is not enough. If you have an existing Will, a marriage contract, or shares in a private company, note that too.

This questionnaire is not legal advice, and completing it does not retain the firm. A solicitor–client relationship begins when we confirm it in writing. Please do not use this form to send us anything time-sensitive or urgent.
